Jeffrey Shapiro, M.D.

Dr. Shapiro received his doctorate from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2003, having had a residency at John Hopkins Hospital. He is board-certified at the American Board of Anesthesiology. He belongs to the American Society of Anesthesiology, The New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiology, and the fraternities Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Shapiro specializes in Regional Anesthesiology, General Anesthesiology, and pain management as a generalist. He has a professional focus on clinical care, and enjoys working as a member of the care team.

Jeffrey enjoys running, cheering on his childrens’ sports involvement and academics, and being an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams. His maintenance of calm in the operating theater and demonstration of exceptional leadership brings invaluable expertise to the team at Rancocas. His professional superpower is efficiency.

Dr. Shapiro’s favorite part of the job is relieving patient fears and anxieties in the moments before surgery.
